Job description

More specifically, the Operations Supervisor’s main responsibilities are to:

  • Plan and coordinate daily operations;
  • Manage the allocation of cranes according to customer needs;
  • Ensure that the required equipment is always ready for operation, and appoint the necessary personnel according to the nature and duration of the work;
  • Coordinate the presence of subcontractors when required, coordinate work with customers on different sites;
  • Any other related duties.

Working conditions :

  • Permanent, full-time day position;
  • Base salary, overtime paid;

Required Skills

Skills required :

  • College diploma in heavy equipment operations or mechanics or transportation logistics, or any other diploma in a field of study relevant to the job;
  • Three (3) years’ experience in a management position related to crane operations or industry;
  • Experience in personnel supervision and strong team spirit;
  • Ability to manage multi-site projects;
  • Knowledge of the local mining industry is an asset.
