DESGAGNÉS CONFIRMS ITS COMMITMENT:
Donation of $200,000 to save the Saint-Joseph-de-la-Rive schooners
Quebec City, February 3rd, 2022 — Our president Louis-Marie Beaulieu confirms the commitment of Desgagnés in the preservation of the schooners of the Maritime Museum of Charlevoix! It is a source of great pride for Desgagnés because our story began two centuries ago with the Mary-Ann, a 29-ton wooden schooner!
This donation will contribute to the sheltering and eventual restoration of the schooners of yesteryear, a true cultural heritage which Desgagnés is naturally very attached to.
The next Grand Bal maritime will take place in Quebec City on May 27 at the Capitole de Quebec. Our President Louis-Marie Beaulieu will be the guest of honor at this fundraising event. Once again this year, we are counting on the participation and generosity of all the major players in the maritime sector.
