Required Skills
- 2nd Class Certificate of Competency – Motor Vessel, under the Canada Shipping Act 2001
- Certificate of Competency: Advanced Training in Tanker Cargo Operations, under the Canada Shipping Act, 2001
- Minimum of 6 months sea time in the position of 2nd Engineer on oil tankers
- Certificate of Proficiency: Advanced training in chemical tanker cargo operations (an asset)
