Job description

The candidate will work at our warehouse in Rimouski and will report to the Warehouse Manager. He has as main responsibility the reception of the various goods, the handling of the goods with the forklift, the preparation of the shipping documents, the stuffing of the goods in the containers for transport by ship and the tasks of regular maintenance from the warehouse.

The essence of this job requires a very high degree of rigor with data and excellent organizational skills to meet deadlines.

• • • • Ensures receipt of various goods in accordance with NRT policies
      • Prepare receiving slips
      • Condition goods to make them suitable for safe transport
      • Ensures cold chain is maintained for refrigerated and frozen goods
      • Ensures that each package is properly identified
      • Labels shipments in accordance with NRT transportation procedures
      • Stuff goods into sea containers for transport
      • Hand over goods received from the ship according to company requirements
      • Maintains containers, stackers and other transport equipment
      • Participates in regular maintenance of warehouse, interior and exterior receiving areas
      • Performs any other work related to NRT operations as requested by supervisor or manager

Required Skills
